I will say everything is very enjoyable, food the pension, all around the area around this little beautiful town

The owner will probably respond to this with something like "we offer the best price in Sallbach! If you don't understand that you shouldn't have come" or "we cannot create a 4 Star product with the lowest price in town. This reality does simply not exist." In terms of service and attitude this is the cheapest place in Sallbach. In terms of value, cost, and a positive experience you should look elsewhere. Here you will be profiled, mistreated, and manipulated. Rooms here don't match descriptions. There are multiple other places in Saalbach and the surrounding areas that are the same price or cheaper and offer a far better experience. Even if you have to pay more money to stay somewhere else you should Everyone has good days and bad days, and I was unfortunate to check in to Pension Lederergütl on a bad day. If you do decide to stay here I hope you arrive on a good day. The owner may attempt to respond and say, "other guests found you terrible", "we do not tolerate rudeness and abuse towards our team", "you do not understand hospitality", "If you only told us something we could have helped you", or some other thing to discredit this review To prevent that, we only met two people on the staff, Paul and Ian who are the owners. We did not see or engage with any other guests. We never raised our voice, spoke in a rude manner, or made demands. We tried to solve our issues directly with them on the day we arrived. We have stayed in multiple budget and luxury places in Saalbach so are able to compare to equivalent places nearby. And finally, I work in hospitality. I don't doubt the effort they have spent maintaining this pension. However, It was easy to see that the way Paul and Ian treat others can bring out the worst in their guests and themselves. If you are paying €40 or less a night per person it will make sense to stay here. Anything more than that and you should look else where.

The waiter clearly had preferences towards some guests, night after night. Normally, guests are served in order of arrival to dinner. Here, some were eating desserts and some barely managed to get starter although they arrived among firsts.

The staff was nice at first but we got a feeling that one of gentleman’s disliked us for some reason? The guy we were mostly communicating with was nice at the beginning - super polite and friendly , but then every night at dinner from day two he would serve was absolutely last, no matter if we were the first guests that arrived to dinner or last guests. At one point we wanted to see if its due to which table we take and where were sitting, but even when we switched tables he would serve us last, and it really did feel at the end of the week like it was on purpose. One day, we waited to order our drinks, when some people (that came after us) were already on the first course. On another day we waited for a whole hour to get our food. When we made a comment about the fact that all the other guests are already finishing their meals, while we were still waiting for food(although we were the first people to arrive), the response from the guy was apologetic but felt in-genuine. For some reason he really disliked us and you could feel it - he has favorites when it comes to guests and thats not okay and the only reason why I am not giving the best scores for this place, as it really was nice, was because he did not treat us like the others. But the rest of the staff really was friendly, the other guy with a strong American accent was really nice, I just wonder why the first guy did not treat us like he did the rest of the customers and that really ruined our experience

Very noisy, could hear literal conversations from neighbors, bathroom old en rusty, small shower, room was dated, think this room needs refurbishment because I saw other rooms that were better.
