Wonderful
Very clean room and hotel. Friendly, welcoming and very hard working host. Comfortable beds. Peaceful at night. Powerful shower with good range of temperatures for those who like ice cold or super hot showers. Strong, hot hairdryer. Lovey view from the balcony. The internet worked perfectly the whole 12 nights we were there so I don’t know why it is rated so low. The location is perfect. Opposite the supermarket and ski rental. Bus stop a few metres away. The hotel is on a slight hill but much less steep than others in the area and it is no problem walking from the bus stop to the hotel even with suitcases or ski boots and skis. If not in ski boots it is walking distance from both saalbach and hinterglemm. No lift in the building though so make sure you can carry your bags upstairs.

Visited in winter for AMAZING Alps skiing! Claudia is a wonderful host, friendly, responsive, eager to help. Self-serve breakfast offerings always extensive & delicious. Gastehaus has a convenient ski closet in basement. Room very clean & well kept -- and temperature never an issue. Location great, not in heart of apres ski, but close enough, easy to use bus service gets you everywhere. Well-stocked MPREIS market right across the street.

The hostess is so dedicated. We loved it! Every morning she made breakfast in this nice dining room. Because of the homey-vibe the guests talked to each other about the best place to ski. She helped with everything and even made it possible for us tot stay in our room the whole last day. Which was perfect because we could go skiiing and have a shower afterwords and start our journey home freshly washed.
The walk home after the apres ski is about 20 minutes. You don't want to do that on your ski shoes. But it's not that far on regular shoes.
