Beautiful interior, nice rooms, staff is wonderful and helpful, and the mountain is at your fingertips.
Some small things -
- as a vegan, the hotel tried to make some wonderful dishes for me, but I found them pretty bland and very vegetable forward. Again very creative and inventive, but some pasta would have been a great add!
- for such an expensive hotel it would be great if some things were complimentary, such a tea. I couldn’t get a tea without spending 8€ - and the rooms are not equipped to make your own tea.

An amazing hotel, from beginning to end. Greeted by Sofia, she showed us all of the hotel and gave us very good tips. The rooms are beautiful, they upgraded us since we were on honeymoon a gesture we really appreciated! The owners are there most of the time which is wonderful to see. All the staff, from the bar and restaurant are wonderful, very welcoming. We had the pleasure to be assisted by Diana and Thea during breakfast and dinner - both amazing human beings. It shows that this team works hard for the company and they are appreciated. The helpers staff are very sweet too and amazing at their job! They come twice a day to see if you need anything else. Spa facilities are top notch, we had a full body massage from two great masseuses. Food - wow! Nothing you could possibly not like. Service, taste, presentation, basically everything. Well done to all! A must visit in beautiful Obergurgl. Will definitely come again. Every cent paid is worth it.

Staff were very helpful and professional. Restaurant menu was exceptional every evening. Log fire in the bar area was very cosy.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic. So friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The room had a sofa bed which wasn't comfortable. The hotel addressed the issue for us.

Fantastic location, direct access to the slopes/lifts, true ski in-ski out, and within village, beautiful mountain views, quiet location. Wonderful pool/spa with superb treatments. Great varied breakfast and evening meals, and wonderful friendly attentive staff. Hotel owner obviously very hands on and a visible presence. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Service was absolutely top notch! Effective, speedy, and always with a smile no matter the time of day or night… Everyone was extra kind to the children too. Highly recommend for families with young kids… Loved the proximity to the learning piste (ski in-out) and the relaxation area (spa, sauna, pools, etc). Breakfast always a divine spread! Dinner exquisite. Thank you Team HochFirst! such a memorable special stay indeed
Sadly, lunch meal preparation can be a bit slow. the ski room could also use a bit of sprucing up — fairly tired.

nice hotel amazing staff, very nice location but it's very pricy for what it is they charge even for tap water or toothbrush we didn't have so we asked hotel it was 5€! somethings are overly priced
all facilities were lovely only the jacuzzi temperature is not hot probably kept under 35° and tiny teeny gym doesn't even have dumbbells!
