Maria, our host, is amazing and gave us beautiful, lasting memories at this place. This is not just a guest house, Maria and staff made us feel at home. From greeting us in the morning, serving us breakfast and making sure that all of our dietary needs are met, to providing us with information about the places to ski around, weather and what is best to do. We felt like someone cared for us and for our wellbeing while we were there. Not to mentioned the chokolates and the little sweet parting gifts we were given upon our departure.

The lady that greeted us was very nice and helpful. The room was pretty, and so was the bathroom. Great shower, and great view from the balcony.
Sadly, the walls are thin so you can hear everything from the neighbours. Suggestions: add 2 regular glasses (no one time use plastic ones), add a coffee maker to each room or at least a kettle/water heater - with no access to the kitchen, guests should be able to have a coffee or a tea. Extend the checkout time, 9.30 is too early.

The quality of the room was very high with a great bathroom and shower. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and the staff were always very friendly and accommodating. I was made to feel very welcome and I would book a room here again without hesitation.

Location was great near some nice bars and restaurants. Comfortable walking distance to both Ski lifts too. Accommodation was warm, clean and the rooms were really comfortable. Ski room downstairs and a continental breakfast which was just what you need before a day skiing. Great shower!! Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Host Maria was really lovely. Not pushy, just really appreciative of the booking.

We had a huge room with two balconies and two fabulous views of the mountains. Maria the owner was so nice and very helpful. The whole house was very cleanand modernly renovated. The location was excellent close to the restaurants and shops but extremly quiet. We will definately come back.

The room is really nice and spacious with a great view. The village is just 5 minutes away on foot. Breakfast is very good. You can always ask Maria for advice regarding restaurants and places to see.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gästehaus Hornegger! The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Maria was so so so friendly and always willing to help. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast each morning, which had a good variety of options. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing breathtaking gateway at Mayrhofen!
Everything was perfect! There was nothing we disliked about Gästehaus Hornegger! The only minor issue might be its distance from the train station, but it is close to restaurants and shops, making it very convenient.

Maria the host helped us a lot and we felt we are at a family house. Breakfast was great, the room and the balcony are super classy and comfortable. The location of the hotel is 1 minute walk from the city center. I definitely will come back to this place!
