Great place, good size room, nice and quiet, friendly hosts, despite language barrier. Great location for town/bars, no more than 5 minutes walk.

Everything was clean and functional. The common area (kitchen was useful) but zero communication with the staff. I checked out two nights early as no one would reply to my emails and I couldn’t get any wifi. The property was clean and beautiful. Very unfortunate.

Lovely 2 bedrooms appartment with fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Nice Spar with fresh breads just down stairs. Highly recommend for families.

Perfect location, near Penkenbahn and Hauptstrasse. we loved the cosy centre of Mayrhofen! Great very spacious apartement for two adults and two teenagers. Half apartement needs a bit of freshen up perhaps, half of it was very modern and seemed newly decorated. Some problems connecting to Wi-fi. Price-worthy apartement. Quiet pieceful area Lovely bakery and Spar-shop on first floor! Friendly and helpful staff overall, and very helpful and caring owner.

The apartment was neat, clean and spacious enough. We were a bit surprised that the kitchen/dining room was physically not a part of the appartment but right nextdoor, so we had to go 2 m across the hallway between the two rooms. It seemed as if it was meant for shared use but we had it just for ourselves. The only other guests during that week left next morning after our arrival so there was no one to share anything with anyway :) It was well equipped and quite big with enough table space for maybe 6 or even 8 people. The Bacher family were very friendly, busy running their bakery business but always up for a quick chat :-) I'm surprised with some other comments complaining about the early morning noise from the bakery - we slept very well. The only noise I remember were tourists chanting like football fans around 10 pm day in day out :) It could be the time when bars closed and they crawled out after a few beers :) We could still hear their shouts despite all windows closed. Penkenbahn valley station is just 370m walk away using a convenient shortcut and it takes ~5 min with skiing gear to get there. The streets around were cleared nicely after heavy snowfalls and the parking place at the back of the building was convenient enough. It's an easy drive to any other Zillertal resort of your choice when you're done with Penken/Horberg/Rastkogel/Eggalm, normally reachable via Penkenbahn. There are plenty of shops and services nearby.

One of the best things about this property is the excellent location. 100m to main street and probably under 500m to the penkenbahn. The train station is a 10 minute walk. A very small grocery store is on the ground level. A bigger grocery store is across the penkenbahn. The apartment itself is fine, quite basic but more than sufficient. The owner is friendly and helpful.
