The position is fantastic. The staff was very nice and helpfull . Ski in ski out . But the slopes were bad! All the slopes in Lech were bad.
The hotel is not a 5 stars. Or , maybe for the family with children . A lot of facilities for the children ! Rooms without a coffy machine . We need to walk 150 meters to the restaurant and 4 flors . We need to rest after that. The SPA is modest . The pool is small and with a lot of children. The restaurant, with the exception of staff , was modest!

it is our second time visiting this hotel. we travel quite a lot and rarely repeat the same place! However, we surely will visit Sonnenburg again and again! it is the perfect getaway spot for a pampering long weekend or even longer stay during the ski season!

the floor of the steam room (spa) is a disgrace in a way it is made of extremely slippery tiles in a room where the floor is always wet. Result a very painful fall banging my head on the tiles and passing out for a little while, saved by other guest!

Great location directly on the slopes, very good selection at breakfast
Food and the service in the restaurant were mediocre at best - not 5* level. Waiters struggled to understand both German and English which made ordering tedious, wine bottle was placed far away and we had to remind them to get a refill. Spa facilities too small for the size of the hotel with the sauna in a dark basement.

For few days one can park outside the stress and relax absolutely in the comfort of this hotel.
The best for us was the spa and the wonderful food choices.
We travel a lot and rarely repeat the same place though this one is to be visited again !
