The location and view were amazing.
We booked for 3 persons. When arrived double bed was ready but sofa-bed no. Our child didnt get any sheets or pillows. We called and text the property but didnt get any help. That is really bad experience..

Location is close to the Obertraun station. It takes about 7-8 min walk to reach there.
The lady who lived in private space there was more helpful than the staff. She let us use her kitchen to prepare food for our baby.
The staff wasn't helpful. They were rude. Considering this a hospitality industry they are supposed to be helpful.

Location was close to bus and train station as well as the lake and park
Needs an upgrade. The furnishings were old, the carpets had burnt iron marks, dusty, there was sound proofingother guests could be heard clearly. Nikki The host wasnt very helpful. She didnt respond to any of my messages. The cleaners however did help us take our bags upstairs. We will not stay here again. This time we had no choice.

Our apartment was on the upper floor and had had a view over the lake and mountains. All rooms and the living room were clean, nice and comfortable. There were balconies with chairs and tables in every room to sip coffee and enjoy the view in the morning. Next door, in a separate room, there was a kitchen than had everything one needs for cooking (except for things like salt, sugar and oil). Personel was very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with checking in and out. The place itself is 1 minute walk from the lake and 5 minutes walk from the train station/shop/bakery. We were staying for a few days and we found this place more beautiful and calm than Hallstatt itself. This small town is not crowded, has walking and biking routs, from the train station you can travel to many beautiful small towns and lakes/mountains in the area in 30-60 min.

Location was good. Next to a really nice lake with view of mountains.
The beds were too old, making squeaky sound. Could do with a replacement. Wish they could also provide at least some tea and coffee since we booked one with a kitchen.

The room was clean and bed was comfy. We had a lovely view of the mountain and lake. The location within Obertraun was great as it was right in the middle of everything and close to the bus stop as well as ferry peers and an easy walk to and from the train station and supermarket.
The room was tiny. I read that it was small and thought to myself that it couldn't be that bad but it was very small for two people with medium-sized luggage. You had to constantly climb over bags to get around the room and to the other side of the bed. One bag had to go in the bathroom under the sink and the other in front of the doorway to the balcony. It got really frustrating having to move bags around to move freely in the room. There is very little surface space to put anything down on. A small bedside table which was mostly taken up by the bedside lamp, and a chair which was used as a bedside table, and the top of the heater which we used as surface space. A kettle and two mugs were supplied but with no teaspoons, tea, or coffee. The room is so small that the only place for the kettle is above the toilet. The place is overall lovely. Just really small and therefore I don't think value for money. We searched other places out of interest to see what the going rate was and it seems you could get much bigger places with more amenities for the same price or even less. If we were not paying so much I wouldn't really care about the space as the price would warrant it. The whole set-up of the place is a little confusing, one isn't sure if it's a hotel or B&B, it seems to be a mix between the two which is somewhat confusing when trying to figure out what you can and can't ask for and are entitled to or not.

We liked the location.
The rooms were dirty. The lights didnt work. There werent enough sheets or towels, and the bathroom stank.
