Located on a hillside above Bad Hofgastein, directly on a slope of the Schlossalm Ski Area, Das Goldberg provides elegant rooms with free WiFi and a balcony. A wellness center and a a fine restaurant serving Austrian cuisine await you on site. The bright rooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows, a flat-screen satellite TV, a mini-bar and a sofa bed. The furniture is made of high-quality materials and the bathrooms are fitted with a hairdryer. Some rooms feature a rain shower, others come with a free-standing bathtub and there are also rooms with a bathtub on the balcony. The Goldberg’s spa area consists of a heated indoor swimming pool, different saunas, a steam bath, and an outdoor hot tub. You can also sunbathe on the terrace or in the garden which also comes with a swimming pond. A breakfast buffet is served daily. Afternoon snacks and dinner are available in the restaurant overlooking Bad Hofgastein. You can also rent bicycles on site and buy ski passes. Guided hiking tours are organized during summer. The view is very very nice in the suite with balcony and hot tub also and the staff they are very respectful
The food is littile bit bad for muslim people also i payed for the suite with air conditioning but it didnt work but i contacted the reception and they bring a fan and next day they fixed it

This Property needs a excellent review, I travel around the world quite frekvently so I have many things to compare to! reminds me like a Maladives in the mountians! Stuff very nice and welcoming,( dealt with Robert at the bar and Andrew the manager both were fantastic! Fooood absolutely awesome ( Deer Cheeks to die for), Half a board is pleanty for the stay! Just get a good bottle of Wine! ( They have great selections). Breakfest is kick ass! Almost no kids, and they allow dogs, which all dogs were very well handled! This is Ski-in- Ski-out place! Two clean pools, one large Whirpool, Cold plunge and 4 Saunas from 45c to 95c , Cave-bombastic with constant 40c and 4 large rest areas that people just sleep, read or just enjoying the view! All Saunas are Male-Female all naked, but no-one gives you a grief if you keep towel around. The place has a great magic, since experince in construction filed, I must say they spend some money on quality of the work and great maintenance inside out and even great garden! This is a place you must visit more then once, becase second time you have something to look foward to! Cheers from Chicago!
I found one negative, small Gym! Only one multi-unit for men to work with and no weights. They do have large Yoga room but no mats at the time of our visit.

The cleanliness and design of the hotel is outstanding. The view down into the valley is gorgeous and the room is cozy and spacious at the same time. The dinner was good, though, really small portions so be prepared to go to the salad buffet more than once.
The Wellness area has not much on offer unless you are old and just want to sleep all day then you have plenty of beds. However, there are only 3 saunas (1x steam sauna, 1x 60°C, 1x 90°C). So if you like hot saunas there is basically just one place to go. Plus, from Sunday to Tuesday there are no “Aufgüsse“ at all. There is also not any cold plunge bath or a bucket of ice - just a cold shower…so really weakly equipped for a Spa area. The fitness room is honestly worse than in any 2 star business hotel I’ve been this year. The dumbbells are cheap as and loosing sand on all over the room and also not much equipment in general. Hence, we can not recommend this wellness area for young couples/guests that do not just want to sleep during the day.
