The cabin was very nice with a fireplace in the living room, we had the organic garden next to it where we harvested raspberries & blackberries!!! The beach was very close by too. Food from the organic garden, trails into the forest and mountains, a great place!

There are several trails to do trekking in the property that is inside the National Park, we went to a very nice waterfall. It is on the beach so it is great to go for a walk on the lake too!

If you are after strolling in the woods, lake shore, then this estancia fits the bills. Very quiet, remote. Fresh air, great breakfast (fruits, juices, gluten-free breads). Aldana in reception speaks great English, and helped us navigate the various services.
The estancia markets lots of activities, but reality is that there’s not much to do beyond walking/hiking nearby. We chose horse-riding as the estancia has 11 horses (apparently only 5 for riding though). Big disappointment, as the 2h promised (for $90/pers) turned out to be 1h 20’ and consisted of walk in the forest. We wanted a bit of trap/gallop as well, but there seemed to be a concern with the welfare of horses if they ran more (!)

I did not like anything about the key collecting process.
We were given 2 sets of keys, one for our room and one that had keys for multiple units on it that we were not staying in. When I realized this and reached out to the staff they said it was impossible for anyone to get keys to other rooms (wrong, we were literally holding many in our hands at this time) and that the cleaning crew must have left them in the room (wrong, we were given them at check in). After that they made no attempt at all to recover the missing keys they mistakenly gave out, they didn't ask if they could come get them or if we could drop them off, they didn't ask about them at all. They just left a whole chain of keys in the wind for the 2 days we were here. Terrible security practices, we ended up locking our luggage in our car the whole time we were there.

An extraordinarily beautiful part of the world. The rooms are charming and very well appointed, and the grounds (plus animals!) are clearly well maintained! The activities are excellent too.
