The hotel itself is intimate, not many frills, but cute. There is a lovely little patio, and the location is great, close to restaurants, shops, and the park. But what really makes the hotel so great is the staff. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and friendly. We arrived late the first day and tho the shift was over the staff still offered to take us to a local spot for dinner. Similarly our flight was delayed and they allowed us to keep our luggage in the lobby. They ask you about your day and make suggestions on local events. I would definitely stay here again.
My only complaint is the beds were slightly uncomfortable and a little stiff but didn’t take away from an overall positive experience.

The place has a great location. The beds were very comfortable. The room was big and had a nice bathroom. The backyard was lovely. It was the very cheap compared to other places in Mendoza.
Unfortunately, our stay ended on a very uncomfortable note due to the host’s unprofessional behavior. When I politely messaged the evening before to ask if breakfast could be ready at 8:30 AM – which is the time breakfast normally starts – I believed my request was clear. Se had an important meeting at 9:00 am, as I sent in my message and therefore needed the breakfast to be ready at 8:30. While I acknowledge that I sent the message late, I assumed the host understood, and I didn’t think it was necessary to check the response she sent.
When we arrived at the breakfast area, nothing was ready until 8:45 AM, which left us only ten minutes to eat before our meeting. I sent a polite message expressing that it was disappointing the breakfast wasn’t ready, given my clear request. Instead of responding calmly, the host came storming out and loudly explained, in front of all the other guests, why breakfast hadn’t been prepared. I felt humiliated and completely dismissed, with no opportunity to explain my side.
She never apologized to me, either in person or by message, although she did apologize to my partner when he addressed the issue. Still, it left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable on my final day in Mendoza.
Additionally, the breakfast itself was very simple, with little difference between having it "prepared" versus self-served – aside from toasting your own bread and boiling water for coffee. Moreover, it was unhygienic that the man working in the kitchen loudly blew his nose during food preparation.
It’s disappointing that a single incident overshadowed an otherwise pleasant k.

The location of restaurants and proximity to the park was outstanding! The open-air dining was great. The rooftop seating was also great. The rooms were equipped with air-conditioning and stayed cool. The breakfast was decent but did not include basics like eggs. The price was reasonable for the location and condition of the hotel. The room was serviced daily.
On the surface, the general cleaning was acceptable but the top of the furniture was dirty, and the shower had mold. The front entrance is hazardous because the concrete is broken apart and needs to be fixed. The entire place needs to be updated to a higher standard for the area that it is located.

Hotel Mallorca is set in a wonderful location near to the park and is so peaceful inside. It has a beautiful courtyard to relax in, clean, comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. They really helped us out with storing our bags and having breakfast ready a little earlier on some days when we needed to get going somewhere. The customer service was brillant and they gave many helpful recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend!
