It was like a whole city inside! With shops, restaurants and everything. It exceeded our expectations by far. The rooms were amazing and made our stay very pleasant. We left very well rested next morning.

Relatively close to the airport, which is why we had booked there, and a very friendly reception.
Orfeo Suites is not a four-star hotel, maybe a three stars. The hotel is getting on in years, our room was noisy (the windows are not soundproof), the bathroom's historic fittings were dilapidated, sockets unstable, the mattress sagging, the curtains had holes. Some fresh up would help. Conclusion: Ok for one night, but a bit overpriced. (PS: The photos on Google maps show a pool, which no longer exists.)

Location was good for us, just because we have relatives nearby. Staff was excellent, friendly and courteous. Including staff at the Lucca Bar, where breakfast was served.
As soon we arrived at the room, we noticed water dripping from the wall A/C unit. We informed the front desk and were moved to another room. Where we realized later, the unit was noisy and not working properly. Obviously not well maintained. I was reading the comments from previous guest, and just about everyone mentioned the "quite poor" breakfast included in the rate. At the rate we paid in US$ we expected a bit more than coffee and 2 small croissants. When reservation were made, the web showed a pool. On arrival we were told there was none. The hotel once had a pool in the back, but friends in the area told us it had been filled. The shape is still there, but covered with grass. This hotel is for a stay of one or two nights. Certainly not for an entire week. Now we know. !!
