Exceptional
Of all the places I’ve stayed in Argentina (and worldwide - a frequent ‘world traveler’ here), hotel San Martin stands out for a number of reasons, the most important one being hospitality. People working there, and we met 4 of them, were all so wonderful - welcoming, smiling, kind, helpful… Angel had even contacted me beforehand to inform me that the price for our room went down and therefore I should cancel and rebook the room(!!!). None of the other places I stayed at (in Mendoza, etc.) did this. Apart from the fact that people who run this hotel were lovely (to me the most important thing), the location was perfect, the room and bathroom clean, and the kitchen (with hot water for coffee/tea and other utilities) was a pleasant surprise. We also had a balcony, which I loved… I highly recommend this hotel - do stay here, enjoy it and say ‘hello’ to the wonderful people who run it. Enjoy! ?
