Wonderful
The staff is super nice. Took care of every thing we asked immidiately and with a smile.
Pool is great and the kids had a lot of fun.
A little far from city center.
Wifi is very slow.

We stayed here for about 2 and a half weeks. We were comfortable and enjoyed our host. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. The AC worked well! We even got to be the first to jump into the new pool. There is a bit of a hike from town but we got used to it. It made it nice not to be too close to all the noise of downtown. Our room was cleaned almost daily. Our host offered beach umbrellas, olive oil, and raki. He was always checking into make sure we were doing well.
The room was a little tight for a family of five but we made it work.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Xani. The hospitality was excellent, and the location offered a great balance of accessibility and quiet.
What I liked:
The Host: Costa is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He greeted us with homemade raki upon arrival and even gifted us a bottle of his homemade olive oil, which was absolutely delicious!
Amenities: We were pleasantly surprised to be the first guests to use the newly finished pool! Also, providing three beach umbrellas was a huge help, as it allowed us to skip the daily cost of renting chairs at the beach.
Location: While the villa is up a hill, it remains easily walkable to the main beach in Himare. It’s also very convenient for supplies, being just a 9-minute walk from Alpha Supermarket.
Service: When we had a minor issue with ants on the floor on our second day, Costa and his cleaner took care of it very quickly and efficiently.
Honestly, there wasn't much to complain about! The only thing to be aware of is the short uphill walk from the beach, but we found it manageable and well worth the stay.

Costas was a wonderful host. He was there to greet us on arrival. He presented us with grapes and pomegranites. Thoroughly lovely company too!
The kitchen was well equipped with saucepans, coffee maker etc. but it would have been useful to have some staples on arrival like cooking oil and sugar.

When we arrived at Himarë by bus, staff came to bus stop by car and kindly took us to the hotel! They also served welcome drink, Laki! He helped us many times when we stayed. I was so impressed by his hospitality.
Overall I have no claim but sometimes we had issue on WIFI.

We expected to be a good place based on the reviews.
Air conditioning did not work and it was 38 degrees .
The shower head was leaking and the water was one time cold and one time warm.
The host was not polite, only the cleaning lady.
I would not recommend.

Wonderful
Really a pleasure to stay at Xani. Very kind host Kostas. Enough room for a family. Extremely clean, over more that 20 years of travelling, we have never ever experienced such level which Kosta´s mom kept in the whole villa. (In my country people use to say "you could eat directly from the flooring":)
We loved the views on the town from the terrace (which you cannot enjoy long enough due to mosquitos).
We travelled to Livadhi beach which was way nicer than the one in Himare. Car drive is highly recommened instead of going by foot.
Only one central air-co unit. Those who enjoy icy-cooled bedrooms will not be satisfied, air-co is simly not powerfull enough, yet you can feel a difference/relief. Or you get used to warm temperatures and than it is quite okay.
No other issues.
Some other remarks that are worth considering but definitely do not go after the villa: loud party music coming from the town each night till midnight or even longer. You hear it through closed windows.
Be prepared for a bumpy and dusty road to reach the villa. Going by foot is an option, yet not much enjoyable.
Parking - in Himare it is really an issue, as there are lots of tourists and practically no free parking places and those few are permanetly occupied. Yet paid options are available. Be carefull where you park, policemen are always in service.

Loft apartment modern, spacious and clean. Nice view on the mountain and partially on the sea too. Very comfy mattress
The dad welcomed and offered us homemade raki, although not speaking much English, but still very kind and helpful as much has he could.
Good location from the town center, 12mins walk.
Communications gaps with the host and delayed replies.
Dirt road up to the villa, with potholes, unlit at night.
No staff around for the check-out.
