A comfortable small hotel with a magnificent view of Himare from the terrace. The rooms are nicely decorated and it is only a few minutes’ walk to the town centre. The owners are very kind (they gave me a free upgrade to the room with the best view) and the breakfast is tasty (the homemade plum jam was special).
Everything was great. There are quite some stairs to reach the room - to be considered by people who have trouble walking.

Wonderful place to stay. The owners are fantastic and made us feel at home. The home cooked breakfast everyday was such a treat! Perfect central location. If I ever make it back to Albania I will stay in Himare at Vila Kosteli! Keri & crew

Very nice breakfast with local bio and very tasty products. Very nice view of the Ionian sea. Can enjoy the balcony even in the winter as it was warm enough to stay outside. It was a very pleasant stay at this place. The owners are very friendly and can provide everything you need. We stayed at winter time and enjoyed so much. the sun warms up the balcony and you can stay for hours looking at the beach. The town is very close by and the shops and coffee places are opened till late. safe parking provided.

The owner and his family were awesome and made our stay very enjoyable. The location was perfect and all the beaches, restaurants and Grocery store were within easy walking distance. Breakfast was made to order and plentiful. I would 100% stay at this location again.

Really lovely hosts that run the hotel. The breakfast each morning was excellent, you get to sit on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Adriatic and enjoy excellent (fresh) food. Across the street is a staircase down to a private beach area with chairs/umbrellas and a couple small restaurants.
The room I had included a nice balcony & view of the water, but it was a bit small (even as a solo traveler).

There location of villa Kosteli was amazing, 3 minutes from town center and just few steeps from a great beach. The staff was so friendly, it felt like being home! Breakfast on the terrace was lovely!

The hosts are so incredible!! Very hospitable, the breakfast was delicious, and very helpful when we needed to find taxis or dinner recommendations. The location is wonderful - right in between the main street of Himare and the strip of beach clubs. Would come back in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful stay in this lovely couple's small hotel. Our room was pretty basic, but had everything we needed, was immaculate, cool and quiet, and featured a large (shared) patio overlooking Maraç Beach and Prinos Beach. We enjoyed the fact that the room was almost silent despite being above the main road, and was only a few minutes' walk from both the beach and the bustling seaside promenade.
But the highlight was the couple themselves, who were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They were literally waiting for us by the road when we arrived, carried my wife's heavy suitcase up about six flights of stairs, served us cool drinks, and arranged a taxi to Gjirokastër. The next day, they provided a homecooked breakfast, even accommodating my vegan diet with a platter of fresh vegetables. They also provided advice on visiting the old town and castle of Himarë and actually drove us there and back the next day while refusing any payment for the rides. Best of all, when we were scammed by the greedy man at the entrance to old Himarë, who charged us an entrance fee but pocketed the money, our host drove back and confronted him about it. Amazing!

The owners of Vila Kosteli are very nice and accommodating. We were given our choice of tea, coffee or juice on arrival. The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. The next morning we had a very nice breakfast. We were served juice, coffee, eggs of our choice, yogurt, and rice pudding. So much food was prepared for us. A pleasant surprise!

The host was exceptionally friendly. We arrived very late and we were greeted at the property. Views were spectacular from the patio outside the room. We fell asleep there and moved into our room at night. Breakfast was served on the top floor. Eggs were cooked perfectly. They also had a home-made orange marmalade that you should definitely try. Rooms were clean and modern. Aircon was available but we didn’t need it. Parking was in front of property.

The hotel was lovely, the couple who own the hotel was so accommodating, and friendly. They were great with the children (age 5 and 2). Breakfast was great. Location was perfect, 5 mins walk with children to the centre.

We had an amazing experience, the owners are beyond wonderful, thoughtful, and friendly. We had breakfast (which was incredible) while watching dolphins on the patio. Safe area, clean rooms, and the beaches in the area are beautiful.
