Great location in Himarë. I had a short stay and a very early morning, but I found my room comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. The people running it were super nice as well.

The owners were really nice and hospitable.
The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the sandy beach in Himare and the bus stop.
The room we booked was really spacious and had some mosquito nets on some of the windows, allowing us to leave them open during the night.
We also had a small kitchen, in our room, where we prepared small meals, and we were able to use the shared bigger kitchen if we had to prepare something more substantial.

Sunset Guest House was the perfect place for our stay in Himare. It is only a ~5-8 min walk to the beach but it is away enough from the beach to be private and quiet. The room itself was great. It was quite bit and was so nice to have a kitchenette. We cooked dinner there one night and ate on the shared patio and it was quite a treat. There is also a mini fridge so we could keep some food for breakfast and eat before heading out for the day. When we checked in, the host brought us Raki which was a fun way to start our beach vacation :)

Everything was great. The host is very friendly, kind, gentle, and extremely helpful. The property is close to the city center and the beach. It is clean and has all the necessary facilities.

The hosts were very friendly. When we arrived we immediately received a Raki. When we realized we wanted to stay one more night it was also no problem to enlarge our stay with them. The room is more like an apartment. It is huge and even contains a little kitchen.

The place is simple, but have all of necessary for to have a good stay there. Good location, kitchen, coffee and raki as a complementary. The lady of the house is Very lovely.
Mmm, maybe the shower, because it's above the toilet and when you shower everything gets wet.

Beautiful guest house run by a lovely couple. Excellent location, 3 minutes from the beach. Well-equipped kitchen, great balcony and garden. Will definitely come back!

The property:
The shared kitchen is well equipped and every room has it's own refrigerator. Comfortable beds, lovely terrace, very clean, and guests are greeted with a welcome raki and towel elephants! Three-5 minutes walk to shops/market/cafes/beach.
Most places are cash only, including the Big Market (center) but the Alpha/Alfa Market, in north side of the village accepts cards.
The hosts:
Very hospitable and kind people. During my stay, a young solo female traveler became sick and the Mrs. (Annasol - probably misspelled) assisted the girl to the hospital, spent 2 hours there, brought her back, and followed up on her condition for the rest of her stay.
The owners have pride in their property and an interest in their guests.
Highly recommend.
I personally perfer dark curtains but a travel towel worked well to block out the light.

Great location situated in the center of Himare, very close to town beach, markets, restaurants and cafes. Himare ia the best place we stayed in Albania so much better than Sarande if you prefer more relaxed, traditional quiet place. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with small kitchen as well as access to shared bigger kitchen where you can cook. Our hosts were friendly, honest, nice people always willing to help us. They recommended us good beaches nearby and places where you can buy fresh fish and shrimps every day. They also allowed us to use the washing machine as we stayed 5 days, so we needed some clean clothes. :) Thank you so much for everything. We felt great the 5 days we spent here and we highly recommend it for the good and fair quality/price, good favilities it offers, but also for the nice hosts. On top of that, we really enjoyed the company of the 2 cats around the house, they were lovely! Thank you for everything!
