Nice clean appartment
I would not recommend this place, unless you have a car. The drive up to the room is truely uphill. The view is nice apart from the unfinished concrete buildings.

Communication in English was difficult but Very, very nice people. We even could use the washing machine. We had a very nice terras to sit and enjoy the environment.
The road to the apartments is very narrow and steep. difficult to drive for tourists (like us) ;-). A sign with the name of the apartment would help to find the way.

The apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with amazing views over Himare to the sea and the Island of Cofu from the balconies. The hosts are very friendly and live on-site and had provided some tea, coffee and water for our arrival. The use of the washing machine was particularly helpful.
The location is a little way from the centre - a walk of about 20 minutes, the last bit of which is a steep, dusty un-paved track - quite hard in the heat of the summer with bags. Fine if you have a car though.
The water pressure in the shower was extremely low.

You got this beautiful view from the balcony of the flat, when you can see the sunset
The location of the flat is situated on a hill, which may be a bit more challenging to find than expected. It's also slightly further from the beach than the 500 meters noted in the booking details. Additionally, the approach to the flat involves a non-asphalt road. For guidance, once you reach the point indicated by Google Maps, continue uphill where you will encounter a fork in the road; take the first right to reach the apartment. Your navigation efforts are greatly appreciated!

We had a wonderful week staying in Himara at Janakis Apartments with two children 11 and 15. The view from the balconies are incredible and the flat is spacious, comfortable and clean with everything we needed for our stay, comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, and again: those priceless views! Having access to a washing machine was also very handy after a week's travelling. We travelled by public transport but though the last part of road is steep, it is only a 10 minute walk from the centre and beach. In fact, the walks back to the flat after an evening meal by the sea became a highlight, with the stars out and fireflies flashing. It is a really peaceful setting compared to nearer the beach.
Eleni and Janis who owns the apartment are very friendly and welcoming and we really appreciated their kindness throughout our stay.

The view and the beds were comfortable.
We were delayed by 2 hours for the check in, also the oven didn't work properly, it didn't even boil water. The owner even came and told us to turn off the AC, because we forgot it once when we were out for just 1 hour.

A lovely apartment away from the noise of Himare. Lovely owners and beautiful views.
The hill is rather steep for a car, but that’s not the owners fault.

Great apartment with balcony. Comfortable beds. Helpful and kind hosts. Aircon in the bedrooms but not the living area. Easy walk down into Himara.
Possibly a shower curtain would be helpful but this was not a big issue for us!
