Beware of this place! They will switch or cancel your room without notice. We booked and paid extra for a Family Suite and were given a much smaller Quadruple Room which is half the size (344 sq ft vs 732 sq ft) which our family didn't fit in. An older couple tried to check in right after me and the owner said 'Didn't you get my message? I don't have any record of your reservation and don't have room for you.' The older man had the confirmation from Expedia in his hand and his wife said 'we booked and paid 3 months ago'. They asked what they should do and they were turned away because the hotel was full. Obviously the owner had their reservation because how else would have tried to get a hold of them? When I asked the owners daughter why we didn't get the Family Suite that we booked she said it was given to a group with more people. I showed her our reservation for 2 twins, 1 king and 1 sofa bed she said they don't even have rooms sofa beds. When I told the owner later we were given the wrong room he told me, 'you get the get the room you pay for, not the room you book.' Which makes no sense at all and is bad business, you should get the room type you book and pay for, not what the owner decides when you get there. We had no other options but to take the smaller room because the place was sold out and we were just lucky to have a room. My guess is they oversell their hotel and give priority to people who will pay more and stay more nights. I felt like we were more of an inconvenience to the owners than guests. We had such amazing hosts everywhere else in Albania. Please read all the reviews including reviews for Villa Blu Inn which is the old name of the hotel. It sounds like I'm not the only person this has happened to. Like others have said the roads are VERY small, the hotel isn't marked (because I think they changed their name) and parking is an issue and an extra 15Euro (if they have room).

I was told in the messages exchanged in Booking.com that if we wanted the parking space, which was a small piece of land near the hotel, we would have to pay 10 euros for 24 hours parking. And I don't mind that because they were fair and told us beforehand. But I think it would have been very normal and fair to tell us that just a bit further down the road where we came from, there is usually plenty of free public parking space. That was not told to us. Instead, we were asked right away, do you want to pay the money for the parking? In a way that sounded like, we want you to pay the money, right? Second of all, I booked a room which cost about 5,500 lek + 1,000 for the parking, amounts to 6,500 lek. they gave me the price in euros. They said it is 59 euros plus 10 euros parking. It is 69 euros. I gave her 7,000 lek, and the girl at the reception, instead of telling me, you gave me 7,000, and this amounts to about 75 euros so I have to give you something back (more precisely 500-600 Lek), she basically equated it as if one euro is being exchanged with 100 lek right now. And she said, no, no, we are fine, we're good...I didn't further push the matter. And then in the evening, when I came back from the job that I went to do somewhere nearby, I came back at around 11.15, 11.20 p.m. We did not discuss a maximum hour that was the limit for us to come back to the hotel, he just told us "call me shortly before you come to the parking lot so I can come and open the gate" because there was some kind of a gate that only he could open at the parking space, and he had to be there for us to enter the car inside the parking. So he came, but was clearly bothered because of our arrival time, letting us understand it was a bit too late. Now...we paid 1000 Lek parking fee, you either tell us before hand that this is the latest time we can enter the parking or then don't complain we came too late. So the room was okay overall, not bad.

Les chambres budget sont un peu vieillottes. Il y avait un trou dans le mur de la salle de bain (je pouvais rentrer mon poing dedans). La chasse d'eau ne marche pas très bien et la douche un peu rouillée

The shower was a little messy, but it was nice

The water pressure of the shower is very low,kindly do something good about it

We didn’t find it a problem but there stairs to climb up to the property if you have mobility issues

The windows did not have mosquito nets, so we had to let the windows closed, since there were lots of mosquitos outside.

The furniture is a bit more old school and unlike most places in Albania the place doesn't include breakfast but minor downsides. All in all we had a good stay!

There is no sign with the booking hotel name (actually another name is written on the wall, so we got a little confused)
