The breakfast was homemade and very delicious nor to say the couple responsible for the guesthouse were extremely friendly. Also the view from the balcony where we had breakfast was breathtaking
The room was very cold. But not much it could be done I guess. It's located in a high place after all.

I have been travelling for all season but never felt so great. The room was very nice and clean and to not mention the family. Great welcome, really Albanian welcome. Definitely the best in town!

Conveniently placed in the beautiful old city of Gjirokaster, beautiful garden, terrace and view. Clean rooms with a homey feeling. Exceptionally helpful hosts that went out of their way to help us when we had troubles. Tasty, fresh, abundant caring breakfast that felt like home.

Very well located, in a quiet place. Lovelly garden and a very tasty and diverse breakfast in a balcony with an amazing view of the town and the castle. Some might say the decoration is a bit dated, but that for me is part of the charm of the place, just like you are in a medieval house (at least my room). Comfy bed, bathroom with shampoo and shower gel.
A bit hard to find in the steep narrow streets of town but a very nice couple in a minimarket called the owner that came to get me. My room was in the lower floor and had a very big gap under the door so if i had lights on, a lot of mosquitoes would come in (they had an electric mosquito repellent in the room though). Also all of the wood frames of the windows and doors had wood bugs that you could hear munching quite loudly (they are harmless but might bother you if you are a light sleeper)

The staff was super friendly, we accidentally used the kitchen of the family without knowing but they gladly let us use it anyway and gave us some fresh grapes on top of that. The location is great, 5-10 minutes of walk to get to the bazaar, which is the main spot of the touristic town on Gjirokaster.
The big bed was a little too hard for me, but we had 2 other single beds in the room, which I didn't try since it didn't bother me enough to change bed. Overall, for the price I just can't complain.

Perfect location 2 minutes walk to museum and skenduli house 4 minutes walk to gjiro bazar and castle. Guesthouse has a beautiful garden which is a treat for all your senses. House is very traditional and classic old decor. Every corner of house has somthing special. Nice breakfast on the terrace with view. Host family is very nice they drop us at the bus station for free.

Excellent location near end castle and old town. Everything walking distance. Beds are good. Owners, family, very friendly. Good price quality. Beautiful old house with view of the castle.
The route to the house is tricky when following google maps. It takes you the wrong and scary route through the city. Very steep narrow roads, which are not one way. We gave up and navigated down. Luckily the owner was very nice to pick us up, while driving our car. He showed us the correct route which was not so narrow. Whatever you do don't drive up Rruga Nebaheta Bakiri. Follow Rruga Koco Kocollari and then take the road going up, Rruga Dokter Vasil Laboviti. Then turn right on to Rruga Ismael Kadari. Finally a small part of Rruga Pertef Kokona coming up you see the apartment across in a very small street ahead. You still need to be an abeled driver but it's much better.

It is a bit tricky to find if you approach the property from the "wrong" side, but once you find it, it's well worth it! The host was extremely friendly. We enjoyed our time in this guest house very much.
The decorations in the room and in the house were a bit quirky, but in the best possible way!
The views at the breakfast are amazing.
