This was a perfect accomodation for a short 1-night stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful upon arrival, telling us everything we needed about the apartment, giving us local restaurant recommendations, and chatting to us about Albania and the UK. The beds were comfortable, WiFi was good, and everything was clean - there was also a kitchen area which we didn't use but it looked very helpful. We enjoyed relaxing in the patio area. Overall, a very friendly and good value for money accommodation central to Durres, would highly recommend!

We spent one night at Villa Cikaj towards the end of our holiday due to its proximity to Tirana Airport. It’s a simple accommodation, but it comes with a lovely backyard garden that adds charm to the overall experience.
One of the main advantages of this place is its closeness to the city beach, which is brimming with life. The beach can get quite busy, but it has a nice promenade for strolls and plenty of restaurants where you can savour the local cuisine.
On the whole, I would recommend Villa Cikaj for short-term stays or for those looking for accommodation near the airport.
The shower curtain is missing in the shower, causing water to splash all over the bathroom, including the sink, toilet and floor.

Very close to the beach, about 3-5 minutes. Safe and comfortable location. The host (speaks very good English, which is seldom in Albania) has recommended very good restaurants around, all in a walking distance.
The facilities are a bit outdated, especially bathroom. As in many places in Albania, there was a showerlet in our room, meaning you can pee and shower at the same time :) but for the price, can’t complain much.

terrace was a nice one.
The bathroom smell was astonishing, we could barely shower at times. Some of our stuff has disappeared and hardly any effort was made to help. Staff was friendly only at the start. Bed quality is awful, didnt get one good night sleep.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed and the location was convenient with markets, beaches and restaurants nearby! Would definitely stay here again!
There was nothing dislikable, but the Vila has a shared kitchen and there were a couple times where there was used cutlery for some time (which is obviously not the fault of the owner). Furthermore, we would suggest getting shower mats as it was very slippery.

Very helpful guy who is managing the property. Gave us many tips what to see and visit, not only in the city but also in the country.
Everythig was superb and we felt like at home. Strongly recommend to stay, also with families with kids.
