Wonderful
Everything was perfect. One minute walk to the beach and the sun beds are free for hotel guests. Breakfast was good but limited.
Wi-fi connection was not stable.

Location is excellent, cleaning personal is exceptional.
Room is outdated ,air conditioning blowing straight to beds. Bathrom is small and do not have always hot water.TV is very small and old.Breakfast is same every day.

Some towel was torn.

There are a lot of works on the beach around.

The hotel is in a great location on the beach with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants close by. The hotel has sunloungers on the beach that are free for hotel guests. The room was fine for what we needed and included a fridge that was helpful for keeping our water cold. The staff were mostly helpful. Although the restaurant staff were not very attentive.
The breakfast was poor, not a lot of choice and the quality of what was there was poor. Tea and coffee was cold. The bread and the pastries felt stale.

The location was good and they have a good parking place. Breakfast was ok but nothing more.
The private beach was dirty. (empty bottles and cans). No facilities in the room, not even two glases. The wi-fi was not working ok in all the rooms. It was impossible to obtain a second key of the room, which is not normal. They don t have internal telephone line so you can t call reception or friends in other rooms. Very often at the Reception was no staff so you can t solve small problems.

Value for money
Went with my partner and our 20-month-old daughter, and the staff made us feel welcome and went above expectations at every opportunity. Our daughter became quite fond of our regular barman, which I wasn't happy about, but no father would be. Haha. Room had a wonderful view of the beachfront. Food in the restaurant was exceptional, especially the seafood pasta. Would highly recommend and will deffently visit again in the future.

Proximity to the beach. Breakfast was good. Sufficient parking.
It has an elevator but you still have to take stairs to get to the lobby. Wouldn't work for a handicapped person and not fun to lug luggage up and down the stairs. Bathroom has a partially open shower resulting in a lot of water on the floor after showering.

The reception staff is very polite and professional - they helped us check in really early (even before 11 AM), once the room was available.
Hotel location is quite good. The facilities are welcoming families with kids.
The mattress of the bed is comfortable.
Really nice view from the balcony.
Air conditioning was working really well.
The room (the 3 beds version) was quite small, the bathroom had plumbing/ pipes issues resulting in waves of strange smell.
Bathroom itself is tiny and crowded.
Breakfast not varied, it is almost the same every day.
Fridge in the room was most of the time overheating the exterior closet inclosure.

Wonderful
The location of the hotel was as close to the beach as possible. Since that was the primary reason for my visit, this was an important aspect. The room was quite comfortable and clean, and all necessities were supplied. The room which they assigned to me had a lovely balcony and I could see the beach and sea very easily. The price of the hotel room included the use of a beach umbrella and also daily breakfast. These things all added to a relaxation of the holiday. If I were to return to Durres, I would certainly consider booking Hotel Virginia.
Perhaps it is just a quirk of mine, but I was a bit disappointed that the cooked foods at breakfast (e.g. eggs and sausages) were not kept in a warming tray. Other that that, the breakfast buffet was satisfactory.
