Reception was unfriendly, making you wrong and the food was average Even the breakfast despite choice l, breads croissants etc… were dry and not fresh at all.

I don’t know who was the designer of the concept, but it’s done brilliantly. Every small detail in the decoration or furniture is thought of, the place is super aesthetic. The staff and services are superb- I felt taken care of even before i arrived (they contacted me on WhatsApp with some details and advise on how to reach the property).

The resort is more spaced out than the photos show, and felt similar to lodges in South Africa. A well conserved area with plenty of Rhim and Arabian Gazelles and plenty of bird activity and variety. A true cultural experience rather than the "look cultural" hotels in Dubai. A Big shoutout to Mona at reception and the rest of the staff for taking care of us.
Nothing severe, In room phones are charged and our rooms phone needed to be so meant they had to call on my personal number for an afternoon.

The hotel location is amazing, right in the middle of the dunes in nature. The rooms are decorated in local traditional style. The food and especially breakfast was amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They drive you to your room and pick you up when needed to go to the main facility.
The room had a lot of furniture and felt a little cluttered, but it was beautiful.

Location is good
Facilities: The resort does not offer any truly exclusive facilities. Even for minor activities or short rides, guests are required to make additional payments, which is not communicated clearly in advance.
Swimming Pool: The pool exists largely in name only and does not meet basic expectations in terms of usability or experience.
Food Quality and Variety: The food menu is extremely limited. The breakfast, in particular, was disappointing and fell far below acceptable standards for a resort of this category.
Vegetarian Options: Vegetarian guests are especially neglected, as there are virtually no suitable options available. Furthermore, the chef appears to lack basic knowledge of vegetarian cuisine.
Hygiene and Cleanliness: The presence of flies throughout the property significantly affects comfort and hygiene, indicating poor pest control.
Maintenance: Overall, the resort is not well maintained. Several areas reflect neglect, which diminishes the overall guest experience.
Guest Communication and Service: The resort does not make any effort to prepare guests for their stay. There is no transparency regarding paid activities, and guests are not informed in advance that almost every experience incurs an additional charge.
Overall Experience: Considering the high cost, the resort offers very poor value for money. Even minimal activities come at extra cost, making the experience frustrating and disappointing. In comparison, a visit to the Kudra Desert with a self-arranged meal would provide a far more satisfying experience. Overall, the stay was a complete disaster.

Stunning location with really authentic buildings and decor. Loved the views from our room and public areas, staff were fabulous, breakfast really great and the swimming pool area very beautiful.
Water pressure in rooms was really poor, flies very bothersome and the mattresses were absolutely terrible.
